Katherine Taylor is a retail queen, who has had over 20 years working in the industry. She approached Blue to create a brand new company from scratch. She already has a successful ladieswear shop in Doncaster called ‘Seen’, which featured on BBC's ‘Mary Queen of Shops’.

She was looking to crack the designer childrenswear industry with the help of Blue.

I suddenly woke up at 2 o'clock one morning when I thought of the brand!

Milk is a commodity which is enjoyed by kids of all ages. This, I felt was key in the development of this brand. I wanted to avoid going down the route most shops go down thinking kids shops need to be branded really 'kiddy' so I took inspiration from American illustrator Norman Rockwell's 50's advertising, the brand was built up to become one of the market leaders when it comes to designer kidswear.
